New CDs/DVDs in the Zenformation Collection (Sort of new)

Calexico Feast of Wire Cover

1. Calexico-Feast of Wire (2003)
I've had a bootlegged copy for years...felt guilty...bought a copy.

2. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, the Best of (1998):
Needed to reload this copy...older copy, again, a bootleg.

3. Billy Bragg, Don't Try this at Home, (1991)

4. Reggie and the Full Effect, Music to Not Get Married To, 2005.
Such an eccentric mix of punk, death metal, and noise art. Never did care too much for the Get Up Kids, but I can dig this. Heavy rotation.

5. Superwolf - Bonnie Prince Billie (Will Oldham) and Matt Sweeney (UK version, 2005)
Okay, still have a thing for good stoner jam music. Will Oldham is one of the most underrated performers of the modern era of folk-rock.

DVDs:
Das Boot - Director's Cut

Say Anything - I've modeled a good portion of my life after this flick.

The Wraith - Campy Charlie Sheen sci-fi flick about dead people fighting off a punker Arizona drag racing gang.

Bulworth - Oh yeah! The film that's still got me thinking about running for the U.S. Senate just to hook up with Halle Berry...:)

Hey... I have to laugh sometimes when I read this... not making fun, but sometimes it sounds like a big celeb addressing his fans! ;). The reason I laugh is cuz I remember when we just hung out... you playing guitar and singing crazy songs... going to Denny's and VI as ritual. Do you remember the time you and I were going to Good WIll and as we drove up, that guy was trying to steal the radio out of that little red car and you and I chased them in your little red pickup? Or the time I went up with you to Fort Collins to get the plates for your little red pickup and we went "4 Wheeling" on the back farm roads in the mud puddles.. lol... I think those sort of experiences along with the toothpaste covered cigarettes... are the experiences that have cemented us in eachother's hearts... love ya Jason Wayne!

It is pretty funny, huh? And I miss those days...and I certainly miss those Ultimate Skillets at VI!

OMG! I can't get my husband to watch Say Anything with me! That is one of my all-time favorite flicks!

Wow...how many people read this thing.

Having dated Jason for a while, I can say he IS Lloyd in Say Anything. Perfect gentleman, outcast cute, rebellious, michievious, and sort-of awkward innocent cute, if that makes any sense.

Christ, I've got to stop drinking and surfing the web...

I agree completely with AT, especially now that he's given up that shaved head thing. He has such nice hair...

Okay starting to sound like a mother...well, I am a mother...okay

I've never seen "Say Anything" and I love John Cusack. What's wrong with me?!

Oh well, my life's been more like "High Fidelity" anyway :-)

Oooo...High Fidelity is another good Cusack flick. As is, of course, Gross Pointe Blank.

Say Anything is classic late 80s cheese. Its amazing what you can find in the 2 for $11 bin at Wal Mart these days ;)
